Day 1. Lima - Arequipa
A morning flight takes you to Arequipa, one of the most beautiful cities in Peru, and known as “The White City”, because many of the buildings are made of volcanic clay. This colonial city is surrounded by impressive volcanoes, with “El Misti” standing as a sentinel over the city. You have a City Tour and will also visit the famous Santa Catalina Convent. The city is also known for its great gastronomy and always mild climate.
 
Day 2. Colca Canyon
After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide to go the Colca Canyon, probably one of the deepest canyons in the world, and twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in the US. On the way you pass through the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca (3800m), where groups of alpacas, vicuñas and sometimes guanacos could be seen in their natural habitat. After few hours, the descent to the Colca Valley begins, passing several villages until you arrive near Chivay, where you’ll spend the night. Tonight you have the chance to soak in the relaxing hot springs under the star heaven of the southern hemisphere.
 
Day 3. Colca Canyon
 We’ll wake up in the Colca Canyon today and we’ll visit the pre-Inca terracing group of Collagua and Cabana on the hillsides. Then we’ll go to the small towns of Coporaque and the ruins of Uyo Uyo, which belong to the Collagua’s and after that, we’ll start the ascent to “the Cruz Del Condor”, where we’d have a unique view of the flight of the condors, and also of the depthess of the canyon. At the end of the day, we spend another nigth here.
 
Day 4. Colca Canyon - Arequipa
We leave the Colca Canyon in the morning and will go back to Arequipa, where you’ll have a free day to enjoy and relax. At the end of the day, you spend the night at Arequipa,
 
Day 5. Arequipa - Cusco
A short flight takes you to Cusco, the ancient capital of the  Inca Empire,  located at 3,400 meter of altitude above the sea level.   You can check into your hotel and take some time to acclimatize and make a first exploration walk along the Inca streets and  into the colonial city centre.
 
Day 6. Cusco
Today you’ll have a guided City Tour of Cusco and the nearby Inca Ruins, such as, Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Kenko, Puca Pucara, between others, where you will learn about the fascinating past and present of this City.
 
Day 7. Sacred Valley – Pisac - Urubamba
We’ll go on an excursion with our local guide along the Sacred Valley of the Incas and we’ll visit the impressive ruins of Pisac and its famous Indian market. After lunch, we’ll go further down the Sacred Valley to the town of Urubamba, and then will take the train toward Aguas Calientes, to spend the night.
 
Day 8. Machu Picchu
We get up early today to go to Machu Picchu and see the mist rise of “The Lost City of the Incas”, where we’ll have a guided tour of the site, and then you will have time for yourselves to wander around this amazing Inca Ruin, and if you are feeling energetic, there will be time for going up the steep to the “Huayna Picchu,” known as the “young mountain,” which rises behind the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. From the Huayna Picchu Mountain you’ll have a great view of Machu Picchu from a totally different angle. After midday, we’ll take the bus that will take us down to the little town of Aguas Calientes, from where we’ll take the train back to Cusco in the afternoon.
 
Day 9. Departure
We’ll take you to the airport, from where you’ll fly back home, taking with you memories of an amazing trip and discoveries.
