Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco - Huallpachaca
We start our trip at 8.30AM. From Cusco, we drive 4 hours down to the Apurimac river gorge. After a detailed safety talk we provide you with all the equipment, such as helmets, life jackets, wet-suits, paddles, self-bailing rafts, sleeping bags, mattress, tents for 3 people, all the cooking and dining utensils. We will be doing some drills into rafting technics and run some introductory type rapids. Afterwards we float for about 1 hour to a nice sandy back camp.

Day 2 Apurimac River Rafting
After a healthy breakfast of fresh fruit salad with granola, we start our main rafting day doing class III and IV rapids, twice this day we have to walk around a couple of complicated dangerous rapids, the guides handel this protages and then we continue, enjoying the fun white water and the impressive views in this deep canyon, we will stop for lunch and a buffet lunch will be provided. We do some more rafting in the afternoon and after a long day in the water we arrive to our camp, there we will have the same tent accommodation, have some tea and later a BBQ dinner, a nice fire place, a sauna and good night sleeping under the starry sky.

Day 3 APURIMAC RIVER - CUSCO
After a good breakfast we raft down some Class III, IV and V rapids (The famous Class V - Toothache). After five hours we end our adventure at the Kunyac Bridge.  We will have a barbecue lunch with fired potatoes, salad and ice cream.  Our private bus will take us back to Cusco arriving around 5 in the afternoon.
