Why you'll love this trip
Join us on this wonderful trip from the capital of Tango, Buenos Aires, to Patagonia and the most southern tip of Argentina. A great trip for anyone who love the outdoors and enjoys pristine landscapes and nature.

Example trip itinerary
Day 1 Arrival Day - Buenos Aires (27 Dec)
Welcome in Argentina! You are picked up from the International Airport and transferred to your hotel in the city center. Today there are no planned activities during the day so you may arrive at any time during the day. Your tour leader meets with you for a briefing on the trip details and in the evening, you can enjoy a welcome dinner and fantastic Tango Show.
Day 2 Calafate (28 Dec)
In the morning, we have a guided tour of Buenos Aires to visit the different districts of this bustling city. Then, we are transferred to the local airport for our flight south to the town of Calafate in the Southern Patagonian region, only 60 km kilometers away from the spectacular Moreno glacier.
The food in Patagonia is fantastic, especially the local trout and the roasted lamb, and there are lots of places to try them in this little town.
Day 3 Calafate (29 Dec)
The Moreno Glacier, one of the most impressive sights in all Patagonia with its towering walls of white and blue ice, is today’s treat. We start with a hike around the many viewpoints, and then we navigate close to these massive barriers of ice, where the sound of ice calving/falling is overwhelming.
You can optionally take part in an unforgettable guided walk with crampons over the ice on this huge mass of blue and white.
Day 4 El Chalten (30 Dec)
In the morning, we drive north to El Chalten, and one of the world’s most beautiful national parks: ‘Los Glaciares’. On the way, we might be rewarded with great views of the arid Patagonia flats, lakes, mountains, and local animals. This is a dirt road, crossing the Patagonia landmass. We stop on the way at the traditional La Leona ranch for some hot drinks. The scenery is majestic. Upon arrival, we hike around the area for a good view of the surrounding mountains and rivers. El Chalten is a little frontier town in a wonderful setting, there are great restaurants around, and even a small local brewery that makes excellent beer.
Day 5 El Chalten – New Year’s Eve! (31 Dec)
Trekking in the Fitz Roy Range, which are the Andes at their most dramatic expression. We walk to some spectacular places in this remote Mecca of hiking and adventure. Here we see two famous mountains, the Fitz Roy and the Cerro Torre. The trek can be long or short. We give you the choice of doing a short one or a circuit that takes most of the day. Both are stunning and the views and nature are unique. Tonight, New Year’s dinner is included in this adventurous mountain town.
Day 6 El Chalten – Ushuaia (Jan 1)
After a late breakfast, we take the bus back to El Calafate from where we catch a flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Tonight, you can try the typical local specialty, delicious king crab!!
Day 7 Ushuaia (Jan 2)
Today we have a full day tour to explore Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego, we visit the Harberton Ranch and a small island where we can observe penguins in their natural habitat.
Day 8 Buenos Aires (Jan 3)
Today we catch a flight north, back to the capital. This is last night out in the fancy city of Buenos Aires with its gorgeous residents.
Day 9 Departure (Jan 4)
We arrived at the end of the trip and fly back home with memories from a great journey of discoveries.
